Do you remember how Microsoft began.....1975 in Bill Gates’ garage? Our company began in June of 1978 in “Sandy’s basement” — way back when BASIC was still very ‘basic’, before the days of personal computers — and our focus was on providing training in techniques of micro computer and mainframe integration.

Here’s a bit of nostalgia for you...

“Ancient!” you say? Well...looking at it from today’s perspective you’re right. But remember, at that time these were state-of-the-art technology languages and applications — and New Instruction was there, using and teaching them!

Through the years our clients have asked us for assistance in an ever-widening field of IT-based subjects, and we’ve responded by developing and offering a diverse collection of workshops addressing these areas. One typical example is when XML (eXtensible Markup Language) was being designed: New Instruction conducted over 50 workshops to corporations demanding training in this discipline, even before the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) set the standard. Now, how “cutting edge” was that?

And we've continued to recruit the very best subject matter experts that industry has to offer. Our knowledge base has expended over the years to include more than 100 off-the-shelf internally-developed workshops in 11 major categories. New Instruction has also become quite expert at modifying a particular offering to address our client’s particular needs assessment — or, if necessary, designing a brand new workshop from scratch.

Not only do we offer workshops for individual parts of your training track.....we've also started helping corporations train their core curriculums. In the past 30 years we've trained some of the world's largest corporations from the arenas of aerospace, healthcare, insurance, software development, pharmaceutical, telecom, utilities, systems development, state and federal government, transportation, financial services, information retrieval, business processing, credit analysis, publishing, marketing, payroll processing, recruitment, investment management, specialty goods..... (the list just keeps growing!)
